Free Ride for Students
To make it as easy and affordable as possible for its students to get around, the Studentenwerk Oberfranken offers semester tickets in collaboration with local transit operators. By purchasing a semester ticket, students in Bayreuth, Coburg, and Hof can ride for free on city public transportation and on much of the regional transit system.
Depending on the college town and the available modes of transportation there, the cost and process for purchasing a ticket vary. You can find specific information on each college’s website.
