Protestant Student Ministry Bayreuth (ESG)
The Protestant Student Ministry in Bayreuth is open to students and members of the university community at the University of Bayreuth and the College of Protestant Church Music in Bayreuth.
Through a wide range of activities offered throughout the academic year, it aims to help students successfully navigate their studies and this phase of life. Worship services and other events provide opportunities to live out one’s faith. Social discussions have their place, as do cultural events, celebrations, and social gatherings.
It is open to anyone who is interested.
The student chaplain is available to both international and German students for conversations, counseling, and support.
You can find the current semester schedule here.
Catholic University Community of Bayreuth (KHG)
Located right next to campus, the Catholic University Community of Bayreuth offers students the opportunity to experience and help shape community life. Regardless of religious denomination, culture, or nationality, students are welcome to participate in events and take advantage of individual counseling services. The staff members take the time to support all students (especially international students) in every situation, offer conversations, listen, and try to help in difficult situations.
The KHG’s current calendar of events can be found here.
