Introduction

The Studierendenwerk Oberfranken is committed to making its website, www.swo.bayern, accessible in accordance with the Accessibility Enhancement Act (BFSG). This accessibility statement applies to the website www.swo.bayern.

Status of Compliance with Requirements

The website www.swo.bayern is partially compliant with the Accessibility Enhancement Act (BFSG) due to the following incompatibilities and exceptions.

Non-accessible content
The content listed below is not accessible for the following reasons:

  • PDF Documents: Some of our PDF documents are not accessible. We are working to update them as soon as possible or provide accessible alternatives.
  • Videos: Some of our embedded videos do not currently have subtitles. We are working to add subtitles to all videos in the future.
  • Images without alternative text: Some images on the website do not have alternative text. We are continuously reviewing and updating this content.

Barriers Due to Economic Unfeasibility

Some barriers on our website cannot be removed in the short term for reasons of economic feasibility. These include:

  • Complex interactive applications, such as games: Certain interactive applications and specific features on our website require significant financial and human resources to make them fully accessible. We are continually exploring ways to improve accessibility; however, due to the high costs involved, we cannot eliminate all barriers immediately. (List of features that are not accessible.)
  • Historical Content: Older content created before the current accessibility guidelines took effect may not be fully accessible. Retrofitting this content would require a disproportionately high amount of effort. However, new content is created in accordance with current standards.
